Project: BBC iMP Prototype

About

The BBC iMP (interactive media player) is an application for downloading and viewing BBC radio and television programmes up to seven days after they have been broadcast.

Brief

A standalone flash prototype was required to demonstrate the functionality of the iMP at public events, particularly the Labour Party Conference 2005 in Brighton.

Solution

The prototype was developed in Flash and was able to quickly demonstrate installation, parental control, searching of listings, download process and playback of media.
